Residents that surround the Maunga are invited to come along to get trapping and weeding tips from the experts, borrow a possum trap, or collect a free rat trap + wooden safety box (to keep kids and pets safe). Attendees that want to backyard trap are encouraged to bring TrapNZ downloaded on a phone to learn how to log checks and catches for real time wins. We will workshop common weeds like madeira vine, blue morning glory, tradescantia and provide advice on control. Games, prizes and baking treats will be shared while having a chat with neighbours.
