Urban Ark – Manawa Taiao supports local groups working to restore indigenous ecological diversity through pest trapping, pest plant removal native planting. We want to see a thriving network of biodiverse parks, reserves and backyards that connect our maunga and awa.

Our goal is for communities come together to eliminate pest mammals—such as rats, possums, and mustelids—remove invasive plants, and plant native species to restore natural ecosystems.
