Chamberlain Conservation Group

About us

We are a group of golfers and local residents keen to retain the golf course we love while improving its native biodiversity and minimising golfing’s impact on the planet.

We formed in late 2022 and manage 2 traplines comprising about 50 rat and possum traps baited with non-toxic lures like peanut butter. In the first 3 months we removed 25 possums!

If you’d like to help run the traplines, please get in touch.

If you live nearby and want to contribute to the overall effort by trapping on your own property, get in touch with one of the local groups:

  • Pest Free Gladstone
  • Predator Free Morningside / Western Springs
  • Pest Free Pt Chevalier
