Join Urban Ark for a morning spent removing invasive weeds from Heron Park. We’ll start by quickly learning how to identify some pest plants in the area and the harmful impact they have on our native ngahere, then dive into action clearing and cutting weeds. We’ll finish off with some refreshments and chats as thanks for your hard mahi. What to bring: Sturdy boots or gumboots (it may be wet and slippery), weather appropriate clothes, water bottle, your favorite gardening gloves/tools - but don’t worry, we will have extra if you don’t have any!
