Three down, two to go

We’ve done three bat walks over the last three weeks. The latest one in Jaggers Bush and around the lower reaches of Waitītiko / Meola Creek. A good crew, including 4 kids, were out in the growing darkness. We detected tūī, tuna (eels) and rūrū (morepork), but not pekapeka. Still, everyone had a fun time.

The last two bat walks for this year are:

Oakley Creek Te Auaunga (south)– Thursday 10 December (8.15–9.30pm)

Oakley Creek Te Auaunga (north end) – Monday 14 December (8.15–9.30pm)
