Annual Bird Survey

Each year we survey the birds on the creek, to coincide with Landcare Research’s Garden Bird Survey. As well as joining us you can monitor the birds in your back yard. For more information go to - Landcare Research Garden Bird Survey You might like to study up on the birds ahead of time, too, on the NZ Birds Online website, to help familiarise yourself with some of the birds that you are not familiar with, and their calls.

Where: Meet at the student car park by Building 76 (old brick building), Unitec - near the walkway entrance to the creek and waterfall.
What to Bring: Wear warm clothing (you will be ‘hanging out’ with the birds for an hour), and bring a pair of binoculars (if you have them),
